MELANIE - Vocalist Melanie Hartshorn-Walton began singing at an early age and remembers listening to many French artists such as Ginette Reno, Felix Leclerc and Joe Dassin. It is through song that she found her passion for music. Melanie got her first music lesson at the age of 6. This was the start of a wonderful journey. Melanie studied classical guitar, voice, piano, played French horn and electric bass. Some of her early jazz influences include Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Ed Bickert, and Chick Corea.
