Buffalo Calf Road Woman, or Brave Woman, (c. 1844 – 1879) was a Northern Cheyenne woman who saved her wounded warrior brother, Chief Comes in Sight, in the Battle of the Rosebud (as it was named by the United States) in 1876. Her rescue helped rally the Cheyenne warriors to win the battle. She fought next to her husband in the Battle of the Little Bighorn that same year.

Buffalo Rider is a 1978 action film directed by John Fabian, George Lauris, and Dick Robinson. Buffalo Rider is an extremely fictionalized telling of the life of Buffalo Jones, with Rick Guinn playing the role of Jones. Instead of being a rancher and conservationist, Jones is depicted as a loner who tames and rides a buffalo and hunts down murderous buffalo hunters.

Buffalo Grove is split along Lake Cook Road into two parts: the Lake County Vernon Township portion; and the Cook County Wheeling Township portion. Around three-quarters of the village is in Vernon Township. Both portions differ in their demographics and similarities with neighboring communities. Wheeling Township Buffalo Grove as well as a small portion of Lake County Buffalo Grove is served by the Indian Trails Public Library District located in Wheeling south of the intersection of Dundee Road and Schoenbeck Road. Vernon Township Buffalo Grove is served by the Vernon Area Public Library District located in Lincolnshire just north of the intersection of Half Day Road and Olde Half Day Road Attractio.

Buffalo Rider tells the story of Jake Buffalo Jones, a legend of the Old West who tamed and rode a two-ton buffalo named Samson and, in the process, proved that there really must not have been much to do in the Old West. And while the sight of a man who resembles a Doobie Brothers roadie riding a gigantic buffalo is spectacular in itself, the producers decide to spice up the action a bit by keeping crates of vicious wild animals just off-screen and occasionally releasing them to attack Jake and the buffalo.

He rescues the buffalo and raises it. He names the him Samson. Jones decides to break the buffalo and saddle him. Through heart break, treachery, and finding babies, he then becomes the guy ON A buffalo. Written by UKISOCIETY JONES. We are doing our best to get the Raccoon inducted into the acting hall of fame, maybe even get its little paw prints on the Walk of Fame in . Thank you Buffalo Rider! You saved my life, that's what you did. < 3 <3 <3.
