East Of Eden - East Of Eden flac album

East of Eden is the second studio album by Taken by Trees, the solo project of Swedish musician Victoria Bergsman. The album was released on 7 September 2009 by Rough Trade Records. Bergsman travelled to Pakistan to record the album, and several of the album's songs incorporate influences from Pakistani music. The song "My Boys" is a cover of the Animal Collective song "My Girls" with some minor lyric changes.

There are 4 bands with the name East of Eden: a British progressive rock band, a German rock band and a Christian progressive hardcore band from New Zealand. A British progressive rock band that formed in the late 1960s to the early 1970s, and who still release the occasional album. Began as a heavy psychedelic band with a strong eastern influence before exploring more jazz/rock territory, then settled into more a mainstream country rock mode.

East Of Eden biography Formed in Bristol, UK, in 1967 - Disbanded in 1978 - Reunited in 1996. I think that EAST OF EDEN is a very good and worthmentioned prog rock band. They where formed in 1967 and signed with DECCA RECORDS around the year 1969. Their line-up included Dave Arbus (electric violin, flute, saxophone), Ron Caines (alto sax), Geoff Nicholson (guitar, vocals), Steve York (bass guitar) and Dave Dufont (percussion). Their most recent album to my knowledge is "Kalipse" (1999) but it is just to be mentioned.
