Renaissance (Renaissance album). Renaissance is the self-titled debut album by British progressive rock band Renaissance, released in late 1969. All tracks written by Keith Relf and Jim McCarty, with themes by John Hawken and Louis Cennamo, except where noted. Jane Relf - vocals, percussion. Keith Relf - electric guitar, vocals, harmonica. John Hawken - piano, harpsichord. Louis Cennamo - electric bass guitar. Jim McCarty - drums, vocals.
Illusion is the second studio album by the English progressive rock band Renaissance, released in 1971. It was originally released only in Germany and did not receive a wider release until 1973. It was first released in the UK in 1977, with a cover that had the original front and rear cover artwork swapped. The original Renaissance line-up fell apart during the recording of this, their second album.
RENAISSANCE is a Symphonic Prog, Progressive Rock artist from United Kingdom. There were two groups under the banner of RENAISSANCE. The first group included Keith and Jane RELF (vocals) and came from the YARDBIRDS ashes. The second and better known incarnation produced some of the best music that I have ever heard.
