An extremely hardy species Lilium, Regale Album bears beautifully fragrant large white trumpet shaped flowers with a lemon yellow throat. Each flower can easily reach up to 15 cm long, and established plants can grow up to 2 m tall. Also known as Regal, or Royal Lilies, this exquisite variety is very easy to grow and makes a fantastic cut flower as the booms are very long lasting.

Lily regale 'Album' is the classic garden lily with white trumpet-shaped flowers, with golden centres and a powerful and delicious scent. LT. lilium, lilium martagon, gladiolus.

Lilium regale, called the regal lily, royal lily, king's lily, or, in New Zealand, the Christmas lily, is a species of plant in the lily family, with trumpet-shaped flowers. It is native to the western part of Sichuan Province in southwestern China, and cultivated elsewhere as an ornamental. It was introduced to England in 1903 by Ernest Henry Wilson. Lilium regale is a long-lived, stem-rooting bulbous plant. The leaves are borne at irregular intervals on the stem.

A form of Lilium regale without the burgundy feathering on the reverse, this 1903 heirloom is sumptuously fragrant with bright white flowers accented with a pale chartreuse linear starburst amid its butter-yellow throat. It has large, exquisitely formed, slightly recurved, trumpet-shaped flowers that are graced with elegant, long anther-tipped filaments.
