The 1st Album is the debut studio album by German duo Modern Talking. It was released on 1 April 1985 by Hansa Records. The album peaked at number one in Germany on 27 May 1985, spending four weeks atop the chart and 18 weeks within the top 10. It was eventually certified platinum by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI), denoting shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in Germany.

This triple CD set contains Modern Talking's first two albums - The 1st Album (1985) and Let's Talk About Love (1986) - plus a third disc featuring 10 non-album remixes and instrumentals. Modern Talking consisted of Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen. They have been referred to as Germany's most successful pop duo, and have had a number of hit singles, reaching the top five in many countries. Many of their early hits are included on this triple disc set.
