Here's a collection of 35 Gorilla Biscuits rarities (demos, unreleased rehearsals, and live tracks), and 6 compilation tracks. I cleaned up all the demos and rehearsals as best as possible by removing all tape hiss and adjusting the levels. This is easily the most time i've ever spent on any collection on this blog, and the end result sounds great. These are all excellent GB recordings that needed to be revised for a long time. Thanks to Mark Anthony, Adam Tanner and especially David Michaels (hope you don't mind me stealing the cover design). Track listing - 7". Sitting Around at Home" (Buzzcocks cover) – 1:43. Biscuit Power" – 1:24 (song also known elsewhere as "Gorilla Biscuits"). Short End of the Stick" – 1:32. Hold Your Ground" (Different lyrics) – 2:04. GM2" – 1:13 (song also known elsewhere as "Slut").

Notes

Limited to 300 copies on clear pink vinyl, with blank pink labels.

Recorded live to 4-track by Dix Furious and Aaron North at Papa’s Balls Studio in West Hollywood, California - Fall 1997.

Artwork, Layout, Mastering, and more BUTCHERED by Ryan Slowgun.

Due to it's overwhelming popularity, all 300 copies sold out within days of their release. The band briefly considered a second pressing via another label; not to satiate public demand, but due to the mishandling of the EP by the record label. The band declared their art as having been "butchered". Shoddy mastering (or the lack thereof) resulted in beginnings of songs being chopped off. Proofreading errors skewed many lyrics, making the band seem unintelligent. The most infuriating and inexcusable offense however, was the label's omission of various portions of the original artwork. This included removing the band's "Alleygay Crew" logo, which Slowgun feared might place them in the middle of an awkward controversy. Ultimately, the band made their own revised lyric sheets, which were passed out at their shows for free.
