Blue Light 'til Dawn is a studio album by American jazz singer Cassandra Wilson. Her first album on the Blue Note label, it was released in 1993. It contains Wilson's interpretations of songs by various blues and rock artists, as well as three original compositions. Cassandra Wilson has steadfastly refused to be pigeonholed or confined to any stylistic formula. Her highly anticipated Blue Note debut may stir renewed controversy, as she is once again all over the place

New Moon Daughter is the ninth studio album by American jazz singer Cassandra Wilson, released in 1995 on Blue Note. The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Jazz Albums chart in 1996. The album is a logical continuation of the previous one, Blue Light 'til Dawn. In an interview for New York Magazine Wilson explained that the album's name comes from the old Ashanti proverb-Sickness comes with the waning moon; the new moon cures disease. The album contains 10 songs; she wrote five of them. It was re-released in 2014 with three bonus tracks recorded live somewhere in Europe during the Blue Light 'til Dawn Tour. Blue Light 'til Dawn.
