Album length: 2 Discs: 26 tracks Street Date: October 5, 2010. The funds gained from the sales of this album support International Justice Mission in fighting modern-day slavery. The project is for a good cause, but in itself is a worthwhile collection of music. At least half of the songs are completely new, never before released tracks, while others are new versions of well-known songs. All of the songs on Freedom are influenced with the themes of slavery and redemption. Even if it's just to hear some extra tracks from artists like Relient K or Jars of Clay, Freedom: Artists United For International Justice Mission has enough music to be worthwhile. JFH Staff's Additional 2 Cents.

Relaxing Beauty Posted November 17, 2014 Just to set the record straight, there are in fact 14 tracks to this disc on this album, from many different artists. As for this particular track, it has beautifully creative and worshipful lyrics, peaceful instrumental music and mellow vocals. It is beautiful and relaxing to listen to. I also think it was truly compassionate of them to be one of the artists who donated their time, name, and a song to this album to raise funds to fight slavery.

The first of the United State of Ambience series probably features a more stylistically diverse collection of tracks than either of the follow-ups. In fact, at many times the collection seems to veer off into the worldbeat genre, where sampled chants and hand drums take the place of synth pads and computerized sound effects.
