Chimp Spanner - At The Dream's Edge flac album

At The Dream's Edge is Chimp Spanner's second album, independently released in December 2009. It was re-released by Basick Records in 2010 after Chimp Spanner signed to them. This is the first Chimp Spanner album to feature an 8 string guitar, which was used on the songs "At The Dream's Edge", "Bad Code", "Far From Home" and "Under One Sky". Coming in at almost an hour and one minute, this is Chimp Spanner's longest album to date. All music composed by Chimp Spanner.

It's a dream world in " At The Dream's Edge ", particularly in one of those dream worlds you wish the eight o'clock alarm wouldn't wake you from. He writes all of the music himself, for he is a t and a very accomplished musician. If you are a fan of "Djent", intense riff passages and simple electronica, you will adore this album. Weighing in around one hour, the songs seem to connect with each other. The rest of the song speaks for itself. The album as a whole is amazing, and I don't say that about many bands. Paul Ortiz of Chimp Spanner knows how to write music and you will soon find out for yourself that he means business.

Pretty similar stuff to this album. Also rich in the djentz, but heavier and the dude's a serious soloer. Inspired by Per Nilsson, and pulling him off pretty decently. NeoSpaz March 15th 2013. Otherwise you get overindulgence of whatever the particulars of the one guy's style are and generally a good bit of sameyness. I think if "Chimp Spanner" goes this route (which he/they currently are) it'll lead only to even greater things. MikeC26 August 9th 2013.
