The session featured a quintet that included Wynton Kelly on piano, Johnny Griffin on tenor saxophone, Paul Chambers on bass, and Jimmy Cobb on drums. The original release was on the Riverside Records label. There have been a number of reissues of the recording, most including alternate takes of several tracks
