Phantom Planet is the self-titled third album by the rock band Phantom Planet, released on January 6, 2004. The album marked a startling change in the band's sound, shifting from radio-friendly pop rock to garage rock, comparable to the sound of The Strokes. Produced by Dave Fridmann (Weezer, MGMT), it is the first album to feature current drummer Jeff Conrad (ex-Big City Rock).

Michael Andrew Esposito was born in Gary, Indiana in 1964. He is a descendant of Alfred Vail who invented the Morse Code and several early telegraph devices with his partner Samuel Morse. The invention of the telegraph sparked the spiritualist movement of the middle 1800s and the telegraph was used in spirit communication.

This recording is edited from a live collaboration done with the results of a two days EVP workshop at the standard/deluxe art gallery in Laussanne, Switzerland, October 2012 (co-produced by the LUFF festival).

The Pressure Of Knowledge is part of an ongoing collection of essays and observations into the nature and experience Electronic Voice Phenomena. The collective, entitled The Phantom Monographs, will have future releases which will be available over time and may be assembled in a final completed monograph.
