Lincoln Barrington "Sugar" Minott (25 May 1956 – 10 July 2010) was a Jamaican reggae singer, producer and sound-system operator. Sugar Minott went on as a solo artist, first recording with Rupie Edwards before teaming up with the famous Coxson Dodd’s Studio One. From then on Sugar Minott went from strength to strength, even achieving a top ten in the UK Pop charts with Good Thing Going reaching number 4 in 1981. I continue to this day enjoying his vocals and musical prowess, and now I have a visual means of which to remember and reflect on what he had achieved.
