In 2015, Pascal Viscardi released his first material in three years a fine EP of slow motion deep house on Traxx Underground. Here, he continues his comeback with an EP for Saft that successfully raises the tempo. Opener Paradiso is hazy and huggable, with warm Rhodes chords and twinkling electronics riding a quietly bumping groove. The low end influence of Chez Damier style deep house is even more evident on the woozy Tales From The EMAX, which makes great use of sustained chords and drowsy keys.
