Led Zeppelin is the debut album by English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released on 12 January 1969 in the United States and on 31 March in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded in September and October 1968 at Olympic Studios, London, shortly after the band's formation. It contains a mix of original material worked out in the first rehearsals, and remakes and rearrangements of contemporary blues and folk songs
The discography of the English rock band Led Zeppelin consists of eight studio albums, four live albums, nine compilation albums, sixteen singles and eight music downloads. Formed in London in 1968, the group consisted of guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant, bass player John Paul Jones, and drummer John Bonham. The band pioneered the concept of album-oriented rock and often refused to release popular songs as singles.

Notes
This version is identical to Led Zeppelin, but this tray card has no "DIGITALLY REMASTERED" text printed (eg. made for a black jewel case tray). Other very similar pressings: WMME without SID codes: Led Zeppelin Cinram: Led Zeppelin
Originally released as Atlantic 8216 on January 12, 1969.
Track 2 is a folk song written by Anne Bredon. The credits printed on this release are contradictory. On the back of the booklet the credit is "Traditional, arr. by Jimmy Page"; on the inside of the booklet the credit is "Anne Bredon/Jimmy Page & Robert Plant". The confusion is due to miscrediting on the original release, and subsequent corrections on later releases.

Notes
Green monochrome cover. Probably photocopied from USA release cover. It looks like counterfeiters used original new lp to electroplate the mothers (thus it has multiple runout numbers)
On labels song titles are printed with typos:
2. Base I'm gonna leave you
3. You shock me
