Oceans Ate Alaska are a British metalcore band from Birmingham formed in 2010. The band is currently signed to Fearless Records. Oceans Ate Alaska was founded in 2010 by Birmingham University's students James Harrison, James 'Jibs' Kennedy, Josh Salthouse, Alex Hurdley and Chris Turner. The band debuted in 2011 with the music video 'Clocks' recorded through Great Escape Records and then signed to Density Records in 2012. They have released two EPs with the label.
