The Starlite Desperation is a rock band originally from Monterey, California. Combining elements of garage rock, punk, psychedelic music, goth rock, post punk, glam rock and 60's Pop. They released three full length records, 1 EP, and 3 singles, on several labels, including Gold Standard Laboratories. The founding members were Dante Adrian White, Jeff Ehrenberg, and Dana Lacono. In 1999, the band relocated to Detroit, Michigan and then to Los Angeles, California in 2002

The Starlite Desperation are still very much a working band. They are currently on the excellent Cold Sweat label. After the "Go Kill Mice" recording the band took a break (up) and moved to Los Angeles to regroup and work with other labels. Starlite Desperation moves from one legendary rock land to another. About The Starlite Desperation. Performing glamorous indie pop inspired by the foremost classical guitar combustion's of the late '70s, the Starlite Desperation also presented the rawness alike the heaviest of garage rock squads. Their notability was firstly due for not using a bass player, therefore offering flammable sounds based upon a two-guitar spectacle. Starlite formed in 1995, in Monterey, CA, by guitarman and vocalist Dante Adrian-White, guitarist Dana Lacono, and drummer Jeff Ehrenberg.
