Virgil Keel Fox (May 3, 1912 in Princeton, Illinois – October 25, 1980 in Palm Beach, Florida) was an American organist, known especially for his flamboyant "Heavy Organ" concerts of the music of Bach. These events appealed to audiences in the 1970s who were more familiar with rock 'n' roll music and were staged complete with light shows.

At this point in time, Virgil Fox had established a reputation as a flamboyant guru of classical organ music. He made his concerts not only audio experiences, but visual ones as well, featuring light shows and screen projections not unlike the psychedelic bands that frequented the Fillmores - a characteristic that made him a controversial figure among his peers in the classical music world. Fox achieves a massive sound, and is a virtuoso on the material. These shows were unlike anything else performed at the Fillmores. From the crowd's enthusiastic response, made clearly audible on this recording, Graham's efforts to bring this music to a younger audience were much appreciated.

Fox is the debut album by the band of the same name released in 1975. The cover photography was by Gered Mankowitz. Songwriter Kenny Young had worked off and on with the Australian singer Susan Traynor on one of his solo albums, Last Stage For Silverworld, where she was listed as 'Amanda'
