The Hearts Filthy Lesson" (no apostrophe in "Hearts" ) is a song by David Bowie, from his 1995 album Outside, and issued as a single ahead of the album. Lyrically, the single connects with the rest of the album, with Bowie offering a lament to "tyrannical futurist" Ramona A. Stone, a theme continued in subsequent songs. The song is also meant to confront Bowie's own perceptions about the ritual creation and degradation of art.

The idea held for all of two songs, one coda, and one album sleeve, but was retained as the central organizing and marketing feature of the band’s 1967 album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The Heats Have An Idea (1980). This Seattle power pop band formed in 1978 as The Heaters, nearly a decade before major labels scoured Seattle for grunge bands. The band shortened its name to The Heats due to a name conflict with another band. Featuring songwriters Steve Pearson (guitar) and Don Short (guitar), The Heats' lineup also consisted of Keith Lilly (bass), Wayne Clack (bass), Ken Deans (drums) and Rick Bourgoin (drums), with every member contributing vocals. The Heats landed gigs with their own material, instead of covering Top 40 hits.

This guide explains how to design an album cover that perfectly complements your music. Music can sometimes feel intangible-how could you describe it in words? But whenever someone makes music, they have an idea of how they want people to respond to it. Think about the emotions you want your listeners to have when they hear your album. 4. Elevator pitch your sound: what are the key words? The elevator pitch is just as important for a band or artist as it is for the founder of a company-you should be able to succinctly describe what it is you do.

Then, 'Lonely Hearts Club', that's a good one. There's lot of those about, the equivalent of a dating agency now. I just strung those together rather in the way that you might string together Dr Hook and the Medicine Show. All that culture of the sixties going back to those travelling medicine men, Gypsies, it echoed back to the previous century really. I just fantasised, well, 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. That'd be crazy enough because why would a Lonely Hearts Club have a band? If it had been Sergeant Pepper's British Legion Band,. The Beatles most overrated album. The reason why the album became so famous is this, as I see it. The establishment and the elder generation didn´t discover The Beatles when they made their breakthrough in 1963. The Beatle music was too bluesy or expressive for the elder.
