Vibrations is an album by jazz group The Three Sounds featuring performances recorded in 1966 and released on the Blue Note label.

Good Vibrations" began its long journey through popular culture in February 1966, more than ten months before it was released. It was originally slated for the Beach Boys' brilliant 1966 LP Pet Sounds, though, by April, Wilson realized that he couldn't possibly devote the time he needed to finish the song for the album deadline. After Pet Sounds appeared in May 1966, the Beach Boys were praised around the world as the ambassadors of truly intelligent pop music. Though its influence has been lasting, "Good Vibrations" was rarely reprised by other acts, even during the cover-happy '60s.

Radio 1 - Established 1967Audio CD. Kaiser Chiefs. 2014 two CD collection. BBC RADIO 2'S SOUNDS OF THE 80S is a unique compilation of tracks recorded by some of the biggest artists around, every track is an exclusive cover version of a song from the '80s and has been carefully chosen by the artist specifically for this album. All the tracks are previously unreleased. Artists include Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Olly Murs, Passenger, London Grammar & many more. Really good album with some interesting covers. The stand out track is James Blunt's cover of Elton John's "I guess that's why they call it the blues" - stripped right back to its bare core. Worth getting the album for this track alone.

Good vibrations is the only widespread popular song on the album. you have to be in the right mood to listen to it. Ted from Los Angeles, Nydose anyone know where the good charlotte songs are? Max from Ottawa, CanadaBrian Wilson re-recorded the SMiLE album and he is releasing it on September 28th 2004. It was recently voted one of the best ever by a British radio station. It's not hard to see why! Gene from Hammond, InStudio bassist and session player Carol Kaye played bass guitar on this and many other Beach Boys songs.
