Italian producer Ascion has made his mark with releases on Modularz, Black Sun and Deep Sound Channel, but he has chosen his own label, Repitch, to release his debut album on. Joy Dexon Club is by no means an easy listen and early on, Ascion hits the listener with the intense gabba of "Body Party Shop" and the dense, gnarled broken beats of "Piwert". That said, there is some method to Ascion's madness.
