There are brilliant touches all over the place and the production values are top, but this album doesn't hang together and create a whole. Deedrah 's 2001 album Reload explores a range of hypnotic trance sounds with hints of the psychedelica of previous Dado albums to up-tempo progressive techno similar to John Digweed or Paul Van Dyk. The album begins with the deceptively slow melodic title track that kicks the groove into high gear after less than a minute. The breakneck pace continues with sophisticated detours into moody backroads.
