The Best of the Gipsy Kings is an album from the band Gipsy Kings. It was released on March 28, 1995 in the US. More than a simple compilation of previous albums, it also includes a live release of "La Dona", "Galaxia" and "Vamos a Bailar" (previously released on Allegria) and the popular party Medley (consisting of a mix of Bamboleo, Volare, Djobi Djoba, Pida Me La and Baila Me).

Drawn from a 9-album discography that has proven one of the most durable artist catalogs in the genre, this new compilation expands on their single-disk "Best of" from 1995 adding newer material along with a richer harvest of earlier tunes. This specially-priced comprehensive career survey also features two tracks previously unreleased in the . as well as two rarities: a cover of "Hotel California" - used in the film The Big Lebowski - and "I've Got No Strings".

The Gipsy Kings make the best spanish music in the universe, as many would say. 4 songs appeared on the Samba De Amigo Wii and Dreamcast games. this is a very good cd and i like totally give it a thumbs up! i really like the song volare because of the beat + they played it at the winter olympics when the althetes were coming into the stadium at the closing ceremony. i also really like the song baila me, it has a tango flare that draws you to.

Although this compilation contains many of the songs featured on their 1995 release Best of the Gipsy Kings, this expanded two-CD set features many stellar tracks recorded since then.
