Another live album by the band. Recorded on the road and through several cities in Germany in 1979, "Volle Molle" is a very odd piece of work. VOLLE MOLLE is the second live album from GROBSCHNITT released only 2 years after the fabulous SOLAR FIRE. But don't expect anything as good as their first live album. It has been recorded during the tour promoting their last studio album MERRY-GO-ROUND.

Grobschnitt released another live album, Volle Molle, in 1980, documenting the recent Merry-Go-Round tour. Popo was soon replaced by Milla Kapolke, before recording the Illegal album in 1980. The subsequent Illegal tour was highly successful. Keyboardist Mist left Grobschnitt before the 1982 recording of Razzia, a NDW-influenced album. Toni Moff Mollo, a friend of Eroc and long-time performer in live shows, was promoted to full member

Finally, GROBSCHNITT's excellent 1980 live album (recorded during the hugely successful 1979 "Merry Go Round" tour) has been reissued to its full potential. GROBSCHNITT fit the other side of the coin. They were a band who should have released 2LP live albums, but instead with both '78's "Solar Music Live" and '80's "Volle Molle" chose.
