Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall is a live album by American jazz musician Miles Davis. Subtitled The Legendary Performances of May 19, 1961, it was released by Columbia Records as CL 1812 in monaural and CS 8612 as "electronically re-channeled for stereo. This live performance features Davis with his regular quintet and also accompanied by Gil Evans and his 21-piece orchestra.

The transition began in June 62. This LP was pressed & released in July 62. The 6 eyes are definitely from June-July 62 but the 2 eyes will be from June 62-July 63 when the 2 eye label changed again to include small black arrows at either end of the "360 Sound Stereo" lettering. Miles, in the wings, confided his stage fright to a bottle of bourbon while Teo Macero prepared to record the concert on the theater’s mono equipment, in secret since the trumpeter had refused the idea. The thrilling introduction to So What, arranged by Gil Evans, began the evening on a note of grace. Soon the rhythm section crackled like dry wood, inciting Miles and Hank Mobley to outdo themselves. Miles, who thrived on conflict, would be well served. Recorded live at Carnegie Hall, NYC on May 19, 1961. Recorded in support of Kind of Blue, the best-selling jazz album of all time. 4CD set includes concerts recorded in Paris, Copenhagen and Stockholm from original master tapes. 1LP features the concert from Copenhagen and 2LP features the concerts from Paris.

In 1998, Columbia/Legacy reissued Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall as a double-disc set that contained all of the music performed at the concert from May 19, 1961. Davis is captured with his transitional small combo featuring Hank Mobley, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb, as well as with the Gil Evans Orchestra. It was one of only two concerts Davis and Evans performed together, and that alone makes the album necessary for collectors, but the music itself is terrific.
