This is blues rock music flavored with old country song writing. Songwriting duo Robyn Landrum and AJ Sacher teamed up in 2003 and began playing in small . Their work became a mix of Robyn's penchant for writing the old country murder ballad with AJ's rhythm-heavy arrangements. They've been described as "acoustic-punk" and "alt. rock-country", though the genre-labeling has always left something to be desired when attempting to define this band.

Crash is the second studio album by American rock group Dave Matthews Band, released on April 30, 1996.
