This Ain't the Summer of Love" is a song by the American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult from the band's 1976 album Agents of Fortune. The song inspired "Swallow My Pride" by pioneering grunge band Green River. It references the Summer of Love, organized by marketers to cash in on the hippie movement in 1967. Eric Bloom – lead vocals, stun guitar. Buck Dharma – lead guitar. Joe Bouchard – bass, backing vocals. Albert Bouchard – drums, backing vocals. Allen Lanier – rhythm guitar. Randy Brecker – horns.

Produced by David Lucas, Sandy Pearlman & Murray Krugman. Album Agents of Fortune. This Ain’t the Summer of Love Lyrics. Feeling easy on the outside But not so funny on the inside Feel the sound, pray for rain 'Cause this is the night we ride. This ain't the Garden of Eden There ain't no angels above And things ain't what they used to be And this ain't the Summer of Love. This ain't the Garden of Eden There ain't no angels above And things ain't what they used to be And this ain't, this ain't, this ain't, this ain't This ain't the Garden of Eden There ain't no angels above And things ain't what they're supposed to be And this. ain't the Summer, this ain't the Summer This ain't, this ain't, this ain't the Summer of Love. About This Ain’t the Summer of Love.

And things ain't like what they used to be, И всё не так, как прежде, And this ain't the summer of love. И это не лето любви . This ain't the summer of love. This ain't the garden of Eden, Это не сад Эдема, There ain't no angels above

Blue Öyster Cult hired drummer Jimmy Wilcox and keyboardist Tommy Zvoncheck to finish the album Club Ninja, which was poorly received, with only "Dancin' In the Ruins"-one of several songs on the record written entirely by outside minimal success on radio and MTV. The best-known original on the album is "Perfect Water" written by Dharma and Jim Carroll (noted author of The Basketball Diaries).
