This was a bit too far away from the fireworks for me, and the lower fireworks were blocked by buildings. The band was supposed to start at 7:00 . but when we got there at 8:30 . the band was just getting set up, and didn't start until after 9:00 . It was cool that they let everyone out onto the field to get a better view of the fireworks, and it was a great spot. to watch without getting involved with the huge crowds. I would recommend this for people with small children, as it is a great way to watch the show without the hassle of being down by the river
