Substanz is not the new Heretoir studio album but a compilation of the original recording of the debut demo/EP . xistenz. additional old tracks on CD 1, and a re-recording of completely revised and improved . songs on CD 2, recorded between 2011 and 2012 in Forester Recording Studio Munich.

Heretoir Heretoir is a german post-metal band founded by Eklatanz in 2006. Heretoir have created a truly refined experience, with fiendishly blackened scenes fading to desolate and poignant passages.

In parallel with the first live shows of the band, the first demo/EP .Existenz. was entirely re-recorded in the Forester Recording Studio in Munich. Together with the original version and numerous bonus tracks the re-recording, named Substanz, was released on August 24th, 2012.
