Dierks Bentley - The Mountain (2018).

Bentley's upcoming ninth studio album is a homage to the annual bluegrass festival in the Rocky Mountain town of Telluride, which he headlined last year. Multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley has built a reputation as both a forever-young drifter and a dedicated family man. He's put in millions of miles on headlining tours and taken the fearless stylistic detours of a truly authentic artist.

Brothers Osborne will appear on the album’s opening number, titled Burning Man, which Bentley played at one of his final shows of 2017

Dierks Bentley’s heavily 2010 album Up On the Ridge was a gamble, and it continues to pay off. The native Arizonan’s fifth studio full-length had more guest appearances by bluegrass big-timers like Vince Gill, Chris Thile, Alison Krauss than it had big hits, but that’s OK. Dierks Bentley never had a recording experience quite like the one he encountered while making his ninth album, The Mountain. Since the whole project was inspired by the beauty of Colorado, it only made sense for Bentley to venture far from Nashville’s Music Row, where most country albums are churned out, and actually record it in a venue called Studio in the Clouds just outside of Telluride, where the country star keeps a vacation home. The solar-powered studio lived up to its evocative name. It’s in the San Juan Mountains overlooking views for days, Bentley tells Billboard

Dierks Bentley is the debut studio album by American country music singer Dierks Bentley. It produced three singles with "What Was I Thinkin'", "My Last Name", and "How Am I Doin'". The first one became Bentley's first number one hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart. The album sold . million copies in the US.

Album · 2018 · 13 Songs. On the surface, this feel-good full-length is a tribute to Colorado’s crisp mountain air: It was written and recorded in Telluride, where a team of Nashville songwriters took up in a sprawling, ranch-style studio.
