The Damned ‎– Fiendish Shadows. Label: Westworld Recordings ‎– WW0020CD. Contrary to the CD sleeve, which states Santa Monica Civic (12/12/1985), this live album was actually recorded at Woolwich Coronet (11/7/1985) and was reissued by Cleopatra in 2007 on vinyl only as "Live At Woolwich Coronet". Tracks 1 & 11 previously released on 'Is It A Dream' 12" single. Track 9 mistitled as "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night".

Fiendish Shadows features the Dave Vanian/Rat Scabies/Roman Jugg/Bryn Merrick lineup during a 1985-86 tour in support of Phantasmagoria. The mix can be a bit unpredictable in spots, but overall the sound quality's very good.

Emerging in 1997 as part of Cleopatra's reissue/release series of nearly everything Damned it could get its hands on, Fiendish Shadows documents a show or shows (recording dates aren't provided) from its 1985/1986 tour in support of Phantasmagoria. At this point, the Merrick lineup had a fair couple of years experience under its belt, first with Captain Sensible and then without; the relative stability of this arrangement likely helped the band put on a crackerjack show.
