Fink - Horizontalism flac album

Horizontalism by Fink. Released 18th May 2015 on R'COUP'D. Following the success of last year’s Hard Believer album-which saw the trio known as Fink melding Fin Greenall’s ruggedly lush vocals with a slow-burning and steady-thumping array of string plucking (Guy Whittaker) and cymbal smashing (Tim Thornton)-they ring in 2015 with Horizontalism, due for release via R’COUP’D on 18 May 2015.

One might be forgiven for having that initial impression when observing the label copy on Horizontalism, the follow-up to 2014's widely celebrated, laid-back Hard Believer. This set is a collection of dubs and remixes based on that set. Rather than merely doing a bit of sonic manipulation of source material, this trio have created an entirely new offering by balancing thoroughly revisioned previous tunes with a handful of new tracks that follow the same creative line.

Fin Greenall, known professionally as Fink, is an English singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and DJ born in Cornwall and currently based in Berlin and London. From 1997–2003 he focused on electronic music and DJ'd internationally, releasing in 2000 his debut album Fresh Produce on Ninja Tune.
