Eruption were a popular British disco, R&B, and soul recording act in the 1970s and 1980s. They are best known for their covers of Ann Peebles's "I Can't Stand the Rain" and Neil Sedaka's "One Way Ticket", which were big disco hits in 1978 and 1979, respectively. The band was formed in 1969 as a school band in the United Kingdom as Silent Eruption, and consisted of musicians of Caribbean origins. The group changed the name to Eruption in 1974.

The group name 'Zaibatsu' started when Matt and Pat uploaded a couple of videos on their channel. After the Silent Hill: Shattered Memories episode, they were contacted by Machinima, which now hosts a series of their videos on that channel, which is usually a compilation of funny moments.

Even in the blacklit genre of trip-hop, nothing hit the low register like the pulses of the brooding "Angel" or the choked-out, smoked-out vocals on "Risingson". But what saves this from being a mere opium drip soundtrack are the flashes of pop: the subtle hooks, the dependable songwriting, and- most of all- the spare use of Elizabeth Fraser's high vocal wisps.

Her second album revels in neon-lit 1985 textures, filled to the brim with long night-drive soundtracks and lyrical pining that broaches the debate of what is more intense: crushing hard or being crushed. Even when tackling heartbreak, Jepsen serves as a beam of light and a sister-in-arms. Plus, the Sia-assisted "Boy Problems" was a criminally overlooked addition to a year of songs about phone calls. Rock heads might have been drawn to this album for the way Church name-checked Wilco's Jeff Tweedy (and bit off a piece of one of his best mid-Nineties anthems) on the title track, but they stuck around for the songcraft and the soul.

The best Korn album in over 10 years. I've enjoyed everything they've done since See You on The Other Side, but it's basically been several really good songs salt and peppered between some not as strong songs. Then The Paradigm Shift came out, which was a step in the right direction. Definitely not their best album, but still very underrated! They tried to sound like the first two albums, but didn't really make it, which is not bad at all. It kind of has the spirit of the first two albums, but yet a fresh and different sound.
