Piss Test manages to leap over this pitfall by taking what they like from their influences, adding their own spin, and not obnoxiously wearing it on their sleeves like some gaudy watch made in China. This record serves as the fruit of the band's labor and the fruit is appealingly sour, yet extremely refreshing. Don't you dare compare this to world-famous Seattle group the Stoogies. I like the sound of this though, I'm gonna listen right now.
