It was composed during the second half of 2015 and the first half of 2016 while the band continued playing live. It was recorded in La Buhardilla studio by Ángel de las Heras, mixed in The Room BCN Studio by Jordi Navarro (Moonloop, Cuzo) and mastered in Ultramarinos Mastering by Víctor García (Toundra, Exxassens).

Muses is the second album by the instrumental rock band Audiolepsia. In short, Audiolepsia did not stop growing in these years: Muses sounds confident and powerful, but diverse and delicate too. It is not easy to get these songs out of your head.

But with their album Muses, it’s clear that they are on the right path and with further development of their sound, they could be mentioned in the same breath as those bands. Muses is premised around female names as each song title which I assumed are the muses for the band. There are some very good riffs and melodies through out these tracks but the problems are two fold. The opening part of Beatrix is an example of how Audiolepsia stick with an idea a little too long while Satine moves along a bit smoother. They also utilize the standard post rock high register guitar melody a lot which gets a little predictable.
