Michael André Fath is a guitarist, producer and composer, as well as a professional athlete, instructor, novelist and poet. Fath is a versatile and extremely creative artist. His current musical projects include rock groups such as Here, Now and Forever and RavenSong, as well as his new project Lone Holdout. During the early years of his career, his musical evolution soon led him to become a successful classical trumpet player, having also studied classical piano. A versatile film composer, singer, songwriter, and producer, San Diego native Michael Andrews began his professional music career in the early '90s as the frontman and co-founder of West Coast alt-pop band the Origin. The group issued a pair of major-label outings in 1990 (Origin) and 1992 (Bend) before the bandmembers went their separate ways.

He has released numerous guitar instructional videos as well, including the acclaimed Rock Guitar Project. Best known for his wide array of guitar recordings primarily in the progressive instrumental rock genre (and including straight-ahead jazz, fusion, blues, country, bluegrass and classical), his career began receiving serious national and international attention in the early 80’s.
