The new album, their first since 2001’s Weird Revolution, will reunite founding members Leary and Haynes with drummer King Coffey and bassist Jeff Pinkus, four-fifths of the line-up behind 1987’s debut Locust Abortion Technician. They were sued by ex-manager Tom Bunch and countersued. Eventually, Hollywood Records bought the group out of their deal and they re-recorded much of the album; it was released as the electronica-tinged Weird Revolution in 2001 to commercial indifference and critical savaging.

The Raconteurs-Jack White’s band with Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler-have detailed their first new album since 2008. The record is called Help Us Stranger and it’s out June 21 (via Third Man). Jack White and Brendan Benson wrote Help Us Stranger, which includes a cover of Donovan’s Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness). Noel Fisher, professionally known as Detail, is an American record producer, rapper and singer from Detroit, Michigan. He is perhaps best known for producing several hit singles, including "Sexy Can I" by Ray J, "I'm So Paid" by Akon, "How to Love" by Lil Wayne, "Drunk in Love" and "711" by Beyoncé, "We Dem Boyz" by Wiz Khalifa. Gorillaz will release their first album in six years, Humanz, April 28th. Mastermind Damon Albarn premiered two new songs from the record – "Andromeda" featuring . and "Saturn Barz" with Popcaan – on MistaJam's BBC Radio 1 show before releasing the tracks, as well as two Humanz offerings, individually late Thursday. On "Andromeda," Albarn croons softly over a swift dance beat laced with spacey synths while . turns up for a quick but playful guest appearance. The 14-track Humanz marks Gorillaz first album since 2010's The Fall and boasts an impressive list of guests that includes Mavis Staples, Grace Jones, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Kelela, De La Soul, Kali Uchis, Jamie Principle, Anthony Hamilton, Peven Everett and Zebra Katz.

Nightingale have announced they’ll release their first album in seven years next month. Retribution is the band’s seventh studio album and launches on November 10 via InsideOutMusic. It’s the follow-up to 2007’s White Darkness. Mainman Dan Swano reckons it has been worth the wait and says listening to the finished tracks gave him a rush. Technical death metal outfit Decrepit Birth are back, having detailed their new album, 'Axis Mundi,' sharing the first new song off the forthcoming release. Axis Mundi will serve as the band's fourth record, out July 21 through Nuclear Blast in North America and Agonia Records in Europe.
