Sirens is the debut album by American heavy metal band Savatage, released in 1983. The music on this album is heavier than in later Savatage albums, where the band developed their own style of progressive metal. According to front man Jon Oliva, Sirens and the long EP The Dungeons Are Calling were recorded and mixed all in one day. With most of the songs prepared no more than a week before the recording session, the band could only afford one day in the studio.

They are so common, in fact, that it's a waste of breath making the distinction between them and bands with a hairy, ugly guy behind the microphone. The seeds for The Sirens were planted when Anneke approached Kari in early 2013 with the proposal of doing a duet for her Drive album (released in 2013). Regarded by Anneke as an inspiration going in to do The Gathering's breakthrough album, Mandylion, her intention was to pay tribute to Kari via the collaboration. The song didn't make the final cut as it didn't fit the album, but they remained in touch. Then, in July 2013 Anneke and Liv had a chance meeting at the Masters Of Rock festival in the Czech Republic, and The Sirens concept was born.

Sirens is an unreleased demo album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, written and recorded in 2005 and 2006, under the pseudonym May Jailer. The album is considered juvenilia, due to the age at which Del Rey recorded it. The album leaked on May 31, 2012, after much speculation to its contents by fans months before. Certain songs were taken from the previous EPs, Young like Me and From the End.
