The Nasco label, based in Nashville, hit it big in early 1958 with the wonderful doo wop one-shot "Oh Julie" by the Crescendos. All ten of the tracks recorded by the Crescendos are here, along with twenty other less distinguished ones by teen- and doo wop-oriented groups that were on the label in the late '50s, with the occasional entries that derive from the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly. There isn't even much here to attract the attention of the '50s group harmony collector.
