Even Slim Smith's B-sides were phenomenal, and "This Feeling," the flip of the singer's "My Love Come True" single, was arguably better than the A-side. Of course, Smith had a fabulous song to work with, a cover of the Carlton & the Shoes' hit. They fueled the song with gorgeous harmonies, Smith fills it with emotion. Producer Bunny Lee recognized "Feeling"'s delicate beauty and pushed the rhythm section down in the mix and brought the lead guitar forward, providing the singer with exquisite accompaniment.
