William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis, and later served as the singer of Beady Eye, before performing as a solo artist after the dissolution of both bands.

Robbie Williams has said that Oasis deserve to win the special one-off 'Brits Album of 30 Years' at the Brit Awards. The 'Bodies' singer has put his support behind the group's 1995 LP (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, which is up against records including Coldplay's A Rush Of Blood To The Head and The Verve's Urban Hymns.
