Phish (also known as The White Tape) is a self-produced album released by the American rock band Phish on cassette in 1986. Often cited as the first Phish "album", The White Tape was originally a collection of original material that the band used as a demo/sample tape for venues, and was sometimes labelled "Phish" or simply "Demo". The album was widely circulated among Phish fans for more than a decade before being officially released in 1998.

Party Time? is an EP by rapper Kurtis Blow, released in 1983 on Mercury Records. The title track and the song "Got to Dance" were both party themed, but the other songs struck a sociopolitical tone. The album reached on the R&B charts.

the summer of 1985, Phish went on a short hiatus while Anastasio and Fishman vacationed in Europe; During this time, McConnell offered to join the band permanently, and moved to Burlington to learn their repertoire from Gordon  . After an extensive mail-based poll, Phish performed the Beatles' White Album as the second of their three sets at the Glens Falls Civic Center in upstate New York. The "musical costume" concept subsequently became a recurring part of Phish's tours, with the band playing a different album whenever they had a concert scheduled for Halloween night.

This is the Phish album that you should own first and foremost. Yes it is their first official album and there is a bit of unevenness to it, but it is an excellent example of jazz-rock fusion, an amazing combination of improvisation and structure with the right mix of both. The musicianship is great and the way the band works so well together playing off of each other is most apparent in this album out of all of their studio albums.

Party Time is the third studio album of the Japanese pop music duo ClariS, released on June 4, 2014 by SME Records. The album contains 12 music tracks, three of which were previously released on three of ClariS' singles. Party Time was the last time Clara and Alice performed as ClariS, with Alice leaving the duo. Party Time peaked at No. 2 on the Japanese Oricon weekly albums chart.

Perhaps more than any other show, Phish's New Year's Eve 1995 (to 1996) extravaganza at Madison Square Garden set the commercial and artistic bar for the jam legions that followed. Frampton Comes Alive! quickly became the biggest-selling album of all time until the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack topped it.
