If you ever heard the album LIVE-LOUD-ALIVE, you know the loudness (with the vocalist Minoru Nihara) was one of the best Heavy Metal Bands around the world in 80's. They are still playing very well in this album 8186 LIVE, but it make me think that they must've been in hurry to make this live album. After the success of their first album for the world market THUNDER IN THE EAST, they maybe wanted to make more success on the next album LIGHTNING STRIKES. They probably wanted advertise for that.

Designed to commemorate the band's five-year anniversary, this double disc isn't as ferocious as Live-Loud-Alive, but it definitely serves as a thorough overview of the group's history up to that point in time.
