Henry Meyer (12 June 1780 - 28 May 1847) was an English portrait painter, more known as a stipple and mezzotint engraver. Meyer was born John Meyer in London - a son of John Meyer and Anna Torade Hoppner who married at St James Westminster 22 December 1767.

The J. Henry Meyer Memorial Library was one of several libraries at Stanford University in California. The library was dedicated on December 2, 1966. Consequently, the library was designated for closure and a new design was accepted featuring a public open space area at the site Designed by architect and Stanford alumnus John Carl Warnecke, Me. .
