Outlines" is the fourth solo-album from Bernd Kistenmacher. The music was originally recorded in 1990. Especially the track "Rückkehr Von Fernen Zielen" is a studio version of a much longer studiotrack, produced by Bernd Kistenmacher for the famous "Schwingungen" radio show. The other three tracks were composed for a german stage play.

This is the third release by Kistenmacher and it is his best to date. There are four tracks with a total running time of about 60 minutes. The first track is 29 minutes long and opens with a building wall of synth sound which runs for about twelve minutes. It then dissolves into a dark spacy bridge for a few minutes, which leads into a hard driving rhythm. Bernd then freewheels on the keyboards before the beat lightens up and a crescendo of cosmic space ensues to the finish. Marvelous stuff for dreams.
