Explosive: the best of Bond is a compilation album by the crossover classical string quartet Bond. As well as the audio CD, the album also contains a DVD which has three music videos, a photo gallery, their complete discography, and all the tracks on Dolby Digital . Surround Sound or 48kHg/16 bit PCM Stereo. The CD also contains three previously unreleased tracks.

Explosive - The Best of Bond. The last three songs on this disc do not appear on previous studio recordings. In my opinion, a "Best of" album should contain the most popular songs from their previous recordings, and if there's room, 1-2 new songs that would definitely be considered for a "Best of" album in the future. This recording just isn't their best works. The second big problem is the anti-piracy protection on this disc. I use my computer to listen to music and this disc is unplayable in my computer.

Released in DualDisc format, the set includes music videos for the title track, "Victory," and "Fuego," as well as a photo gallery and the entire album in . Surround Sound. As usual, in the artwork and photography Bond have refused to be staid or classical. Explosive features Haylie Ecker, Eos Chater, Tania Davis, and Gay-Yee Westerhoff dressed to the hilt and surrounded by vibrant flora. As they've always done, particularly with 2003's Classified, the quartet stands boldly behind its style, no matter the naysayers. Of course, the usual criticisms do apply.
