Straight Between the Eyes is the sixth studio album by the British hard rock band Rainbow, released in 1982. A remastered CD reissue, with packaging duplicating the original vinyl release, was released in May 1999. The band line-up was the same as had recorded the previous year's Difficult to Cure album, with the exception of David Rosenthal, who replaced Don Airey on keyboards. The title allegedly came from a phrase from Jeff Beck, describing Jimi Hendrix to Blackmore.

Straight Between The Eyes. Exclusive Prime pricing. Straight Between The Eyes. Now, at first listen it was a bit of a departure - the kind of mystical 70s early metal of the Dio years is totally left behind for a more straight-ahead Foreigner-like American 80s rock. That said, it's a pretty good example of the style. Admittedly the lyrics are often cliche rock lyrics (. Tite Squeeze"), but I can enjoy that kind of thing in the right context.
