However, this is the original Westwood One recording sent to . radio stations for broadcast in July 1997. Obviously, this is an incomplete recording, but the sound is pristine. Presented on two compact discs, but intended to be aired on one night rather than on consecutive weekends as some Westwood One shows were.

CD released on the Destra label. As is cover with new jewel case. The show airs on the Westwood One Radio Network and aired weekly for one hour. The show was an hour long. Since IT is a radio show, every one looks alike. SUPERSTAR CONCERT SERIES was a weekly live in concert series which started as a 90 minute show but was later contracted to a 60 minute show so that more acts could be accommodated.

This radio show is another version of the set from the Nassau Coliseum, similar to Genesis - Westwood One In Concert: An Evening With Genesis IC 82-19-X from September 1982. Hosted by DJ David Perry and containing original commercial blocks for Sprite and Coke sodas. Dodo / Lurker, Abacab, Misunderstanding, Turn It On Again, Follow You, Follow Me, the In The Cage Medley and Behind The Lines can all be found on the Genesis - Three Sides Live album and video. Partially recorded at The Nassau Coliseum in New York on 29 November 1981, (with the exception of Man On The Corner, No Reply At All and possibly Misunderstanding which were most likely captured at The Savoy Club in New York City on 28 November 1981). Follow You, Follow Me was recorded at the Lyceum Ballroom in London on 7 May 1980, therefore that track can also be found on Genesis - The Source: Live At The Lyceum Ballroom, London 7 May 1980. Behind The Lines usually segued directly into Duchess when performed live, (and indeed it does so on Genesis - Three Sides Live) however, this recording utilizes a quick fade out as Duchess begins and the song slips directly into Misunderstanding. Lastly, although SS 83-5 does NOT appear on the LP labels, it DOES appear etched in the Matrix / Runout on each LP.
