He is perhaps best known for his role as "Keith Partridge" in the television musical sitcom The Partridge Family (1970-1974). He was one of pop culture's most celebrated teen idols, enjoying a successful pop career in the 1970s and to a lesser degree in the 1980s and 1990s, although he had a top 5 album in the 2000s. This is undoubtedly the best work David Cassidy has ever done. Great melodic rock with a harder edge. If you're looking for The Partridge Family David Cassidy, you won't find that here. It's just too bad David didn't continue in this direction instead of returning to the pop music. I would have loved to hear what could have come next. His vocals on this CD are outstanding and show that he has a very impressive range.
