Richard St. John Harris (1 October 1930 – 25 October 2002) was an Irish actor and singer. He had eight more siblings including Patrick Ivan Harris, Dermot Harris, Noel William Michael Harris and William George Harris. Richard Harris completed his schooling at the Crescent College. The track ‘MacArthur Park’ from the album ‘A Tramp Shining’ was a chartbuster. In 1973, Harris revealed the poet in him by publishing his poetry book ‘I, In the Membership of My Days.
